I am not your typical realtor. I’ve spent a lifetime doing lots of other interesting things before turning to real estate.
An MBA in Strategic Management, I have a rich and diverse background in the corporate world. I’ve held executive-level positions at Continental Airlines, FedEx, GE Capital, DHL Worldwide, Culligan International, Johnson Controls and CBRE. It was in these challenging positions that I developed the skills to quickly identify clients’ needs and close complex deals at the C-Suite level.
I earned a coveted Six-Sigma Quality Black Belt certification from GE Capital, and graduated from The Leadership Institute of Memphis, Tennessee.
I’m expert in sales, operations and creating customer – focused cultures, I have been called a ” quantitative change agent who leads by example, inspiration and coaching.”
As a senior executive for multiple Fortune 500 companies, I became an acknowledged expert in key areas of leadership…awareness, decisiveness, empathy, accountability, confidence and focus.
In between many of my business accomplishments, I found time to serve as an adjunct university professor teaching undergraduate business classes to adults returning to college to finish their degrees. In addition I currently work part-time in the fitness industry as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. I enjoy helping people obtain their goals.
I’m “not-quite” a scratch golfer, as well as an amateur guitarist with a formidable repertoire of Beatles tunes.
My philosophy of life? Grateful with grit. To me, it means waking up every day thankful for my many blessings and yet also prepared with grit, toughness, for whatever life might throw at me. It’s the perfect attitude for a problem solver representing clients in real estate deals.
Father of a grown son and two daughters, as well as a mix-breed cocker spaniel-beagle, I’m a Eagle Scout who still retains my old-fashioned scouting values …hard work, dependability, honesty, modesty and passion for what I’m doing.
And because I have lived in the midwest, southwest, northeast, southeast as well as Hawaii, I have developed a well-rounded perspective on different peoples’ tastes and values.
So, rather than simply play my guitar, walk my dog and improve my golf game, I decided I want to continue to help people. Only this time the “quantitative change agent” is helping people in a different way. I’m helping them find their dream homes. And, like most everything else in my life, I’m very, very good at it.
